Hi paulin, why do you need to go through all the trouble. Just make a air tight container, pressurize it using simple bicycle pump and then let the chemical (boron/borax) ooz out of the hose that are connected to the tank. YOu can check out how we did at www.abari.org/treatment

I would like to treat bamboo poles with a chemical solution (boric-borax/ boron borate/borac? ). But we have some problem importing a pressure tank. At least for the beginning we would like to weld a metallic tank. What should be the dimensions (HxLxD)? How to operate for the chemical treatment (Quantity of poles at a time, solution, length of time, ...)? Note that the boiling will be done on firewood.
