Re: [bamboo-plantations] How to build and operate a pressure tank for chemical treatment?

Gigantis Bamboo plantation And then, of course, there are lots of class action lawsuits in the U.S.
because "pressure treated lumber" was not treated with enough pressure
to get the chemicals to saturate the wood. (Window recalled/replaced
when poorly treated lumber was used.) I'm not sure what the standards
are for this sort of thing, but it seems to me that a bicycle pump isn't
going to provide much more than 70 psi. I understand that bamboo is not
very porous to begin with, so is that enough for satisfactory treatment?

> Hi paulin, why do you need to go through all the trouble. Just make a air tight container, pressurize it using simple bicycle pump and then let the chemical (boron/borax) ooz out of the hose that are connected to the tank.

At least for the beginning we would like to weld a metallic tank. What should be the dimensions (HxLxD)? How to operate for the chemical treatment (Quantity of poles at a time, solution, length of time, ...)? Note that the boiling will be done on firewood.
