I have a clump of Mellocanna bambusoides bamboo at my garden and also a photograph of it at Bangalore-India.At present I am at New York.I will be returning to India after attendingthe Natioal workshop on bamboos at San Fransisco on 6,7,and 8 of October.

I'm working on a new show for Discovery Channel about rodents called Animals of Unusual
Size. We have a segment that discusses rat plagues in Asia caused by the flowering (or
fruiting?) of bamboo. Does anyone here have photos or video footage of these plants? We
