Lisa:: as an adjunct to Gib Coopers posting, keep in mind also, that it will
take some years to establish a plantation of really nice sized bamboo of
most any kind, and if one can find land that already has the native types, then
one will be YEARS ahead.. also the native types are what grows best
there. so don't be thinking "there are better types to grow.".. For
building purposes, one can get much better than Guadua..
