Christine,
In Sao Paulo state, during the last 2 years, almost all wild clumps of Guadua paraguayana flowered.
In the collection, we noticed Bambusa malingensis also flowered.
Regards,
Fernando

Assunto: [bamboo-plantations] Tropical bambu flowering
Hi folks,I would love to get some information about possible projected flowerings of common tropical clumpers. I am imagining that it could be coming soon enough for the Guaduachacoensis and the G. angustifolia…Dendrolcalamus asper ?I now have young D. giganteus's that are over 40' tall from seed, three years ago, here in Costa Rica. Thanks so much,Christine Giese
