One of the first things to consider is the type of panel that can be built in a low tech environment...and still be "culturally appropriate".

I think that Hexayurts are too difficult to place furniture in, round structures waste a lot of space...90 degree angles make for strong structures, and good sized rooms can be in 4' increments, 24'x24' makes a good basis for two story towers and a pyramid roof with a tension band is "bomb proof" coupled with a two ply cavity wall that can contain mycelieum insulation and cheap foil radiant barriers, all that it needs is a roof membrane to shed water, and it looks like a little Frank Loyd Wright clone...but windows and doors will add cost...I have seen this type of construction panel, and believe that is can be done by had hand if nothing else is availavble...we need a cheap adhesive, but cement and lime could be used too...just thinking...
