From what I've seen, bamboo seed for sale on the Internet seems to be either Moso, P. heteroclada or D. strictus. You might see some Fargesia nigra or Pleioblastus shibuyanus 'Tsuboi' seed, but don't expect it to be like the parent.Daniel Fox
