Sorry for the mix up.I thought B. ventricosa was yet another synonym for B. vulgaris var wamin
and that Buddha's Belly referred to both. In any case, B. vulgaris var
vittata ( yellow bamboo) or var. wamin have not been reported to set seed so
far.
