I routinely caution folks to NOT buy bamboo seeds from anyone off the internet, except the few reputable dealers:: as 'generally speaking', most
bamboo seeds look alike (to a new person for sure), and as Hans AND Roy
indicates, one can spend years growing from seeds to then discover they are
NOT the species one wanted .. Keep in mind there are many scammers and
schemers on this old internet who will sell you anything you ASK for...
Especially since in this case they KNOW that you will never know the
different for years, even if they do germinate..
Also I am told that bamboo seeds look pretty much like wheat seed.
I would make a small guess that some of those "seeds' are not even
bamboo seeds at all.. LET THE BUYER BEWARE.....
Peace and love to all. Kinder in Central Texas.

many of the
species listed have not flowered in recent times so I who knows what they
are selling. I wouldn't waste my time growing unknown species.
