I have grown bamboo from seeds of my own collection(Bamboosa bamboos, and Dendrocalamus -from India ) or other bamboo seeds obtained from close friends
from the bamboo group family.
Bamboo seeds have short viability of few months and gradually loose their
viability.Fresh seeds have given me good results.

I would be skeptical also. The first picture I looked at was labeled as
Bambusa ventricosa. I say the picture is of Bambusa vulgaris ³Wamin². So
he¹s batting zero for me as far as the seeds he¹s selling.
